Hey, my name is Azim Pothiawala. I was raised in Sugar Land, a suburb near Houston, Texas. I went to Rice University for undergrad and McGovern for medical school. I had first heard about this program from a friend working at an ED in Austin. He felt the docs, alums from Christus, were really well-trained. I did not rotate here, but my interview day, the residency location and unopposed nature were the big reasons I ranked the program high on my list. I am so happy that I did!
